What is Arabizi (3arabizi) and how is it used?
Arabizi is a newly emerged form of typing Arabic words using an English language keyboard. As you know, Arabic language has 28 letters compared to the 26 English letters. Some letters match directly, while others do not align quiet as well.
Example: In the spokken and written Arabic language the Arabic means Arabi. In Arabic, the word Arabi uses the letter ع instead of A at the beggining of the word. The Arabic letter ع is not available on the English/Latin keyboard, therefore the number 3 is substituted in place of the ع, making the word more visually similar to the Arabic word 3arabi.
