Activities in Quarantine at home with a baby in COVID-19 Scare

Many of us are being quarantined at home due to the coronavirus COVID-19. Quarantine at home with the entire family is our new routine, whether we like it or  not. It is safer for our babies, and safer for us and elderly people with underlying conditions

To all mothers out there chill for a second , your stress won’t help instead it will stress your kids as well. Quarantine is not that bad when it comes to your baby’s health (home is not a bad place at the end of the day). Keep in mind, this situation will not last forever, so let’s sacrifice a little bit.How to survive quarantine with kids at home amidst the COVID-19 Coronavirus scare

I used to do so many activities at home with my daughter, way before the Covid-19 Coronavirus, since we don’t like screen for our baby and toddler. I have to keep them busy.

Here are some activities that I do at home with the kids:
Reading stories, coloring, drawing, playing with play dough, puzzle (my daughter’s favorite), lego, we play grocery shopping at home, clean up her toys (putting toys away), drawing with chalk on the balcony floor, clean her toys (with wipes), singing, dancing, eating snacks, kids workout, toddlers experiments, paint with brush, playing in the back yard with the ball, making cake, making her own croissants, watch ducks and squirrels that play outside the house, food coloring with baking soda and vinegar, tracing letters… not to mention dancing on the living room floor with her dad and I.

All of these activities are easy simple and possible around your home.
Try to enjoy the little things around you and enjoy every single moment with your bundles of joys. They grow up so fast. One day you’ll miss these moments.

Stay Home, Stay Safe
God bless you all. A mom of two.

ya… can you please add a paragraph on how to do that WHILE working!!! 🙁

Her is my husband’s response, as he is working full time from home. It’s a constant struggle, especially when you’re in the middle of a zoom call and it’s your turn to talk and you’ve unmuted your phone and one of the kids decides to be loud or needy all of sudden.

Get in a room by yourself, and lock the door. That’s if your significant other is around to help.
It will be helpful to promise the kids that when you’re done working, you will do something super fun with them. Also, promise their mom or step mom that you will give her time for herself as well in the evening. But they have to wait and treat you as if you are really at work, and not home.
